Interest Areas

Mainly, I am interested in the following topics:

  • Requirements Engineering. I have focused my efforts on Early-Aspects, Early-Variability, Traceability Models and Methods for Eliciting and Analysing Requirements: Scenarios and Goals
  • Software Architecture. My work in this area has been related to ADLs, Architectural Knowledge Management, Reconfiguration of SA, generative techniques for SA, etc.
  • Model-Driven Development. I have worked in the application of this paradigm to different stages of the development process.
  • Aspect-Oriented Software Development

This has motivated the definition of ATRIUM, a methodology to define concurrently Requirements and Software Architectures.

Currently, I am member of the Laboratory Of User Interaction and Software Engineering (Louise) which is located in the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. I am also collaborating with other research groups, such as:

  • Software Engineering and Information Systems Research Group (ISSI), Department of Information Systems and Computation, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia
  • Research Group Software Architecture (SWA) is located at the University of Vienna, Austria.
  • Empirical Software Engineering Laboratory at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas.
